I have had the great fortune to work with a huge variety of clients & subjects over the years
I have shot fashion campaigns for leading designers, have portraits regularly commissioned by leading publications, such as Vogue, Tatler & The Telegraph & have photographed weddings for Royalty both British & Hollywood
My work hangs in Institutions such as the National Portrait Galley & I have had exhibitions of my landscapes in galleries globally
The camera has taken me on an incredible journey!
One that has not only granted me extraordinary accessibility to an array of beautiful humans, but has also helped me to uncover something of my own belonging
I have cultivated through the camera, something of a child-like awe at the infinite mystery of it all
Photography has literally helped me reframe the world & unlock the beauty I now see everywhere
After school & receiving accommodation in photography, I went onto to study the subject at The London College of Printing
Later I worked alongside some of the greats; the likes of Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Patrick Litchfield & Mirella Ricciardi
I shared a studio in Notting Hill for several years with Royal photographer Hugo Burnand
Both he & Mirella taught me the importance of connection with my subjects & how to extract the very best from them
Photography commissions over the years, too numerous to mention, have included some great moments, including going on the US tour with child-hood pal James Blunt & his album Back To Bedlam & witnessing his dream becoming a reality & helping mothers remember a love for their bodies, with the project ‘Reclaiming Beauty’
I believe I have an innate understanding for composition & lighting & this alongside my intuitive ability to draw the best from of his subjects, allows me to create beautiful work
I am here to record; a scribe of imagery, a story-teller of soul & wonder & waker of beauty
In between commercial assignments, I spend much of my time on my motorbike or hiking in the wilds, adventuring with camera & my terrier Trev, looking for the poetic moments that fuel my continued passion & creative drive
